Victor’s passion for Applied Sciences and Physics while in high school led him directly to his chosen career path. A Professional Engineer who has obtained his MBA and PMP (Project Management Professional) designation while at OPG, Victor was first drawn to the company due to his interest in nuclear technology. To say that he hasn’t stopped learning since joining OPG is an understatement, as he’s had many opportunities for on-the-job and off-site training, and has held various positions. He’s also quick to point out the many opportunities available to socialize with colleagues in a non-work setting: from pick-up soccer to basketball, to a barbecue in the park. His current role as Project Engineer enables him to use his well-rounded education and skill set. Along with working on pioneering refurbishment and new generation projects, he is getting exposure to finance and project management, taking him one step closer to his goal of moving into a supervisory or management role.
