A Co-op student assigned to the Control Maintenance Shop, Tiffany is using her interest in electricity to pursue a profession as an Instrumentation Engineering Technician. Finding other women working as electricians in the shop was a pleasant surprise for Tiffany, who recognizes that her chosen field has historically been predominantly male. And it further confirmed her grandfather’s advice about OPG being a great place to work. The strong team-driven environment also appeals to Tiffany, who has been invited and encouraged to participate in various staff-organized activities outside the work setting, and competed in the Dragon Boat Races as a member of the OPG team. She feels her experience here is one more step forward in reaching her career goals.
