Meet Jonathan, a Senior Staffing Consultant in Human Resources. When he started as a Summer Co-op Student with OPG, he had no idea an HR position would be in his future. After nearly five years of non-stop learning, he went from being a Mechanical Technician Apprentice to a fully qualified Journeyperson at the Darlington Generating Station. And recently, Jonathan moved from the station to Head Office. There, he is able to share his understanding of the importance of skilled trades at OPG, while recruiting new employees – something he has always been interested in doing. The change enables Jonathan to help both potential applicants and our business, and provides him with new opportunities for growth and advancement. Excited about being able to take on different roles and challenges in his career with OPG, Jonathan is definitely charting a unique course.
