The Need Is Here
Thirty per cent of OPG employees will be eligible to retire by 2012. To address this potential gap, hundreds of new employees will be required every year, just to maintain current staff levels and support growth in energy demand.
In addition to our 65 Hydroelectric (including 29 green-powered), three Nuclear and five Fossil-fuelled generating stations that stretch across Ontario, we’re currently planning to build several new generating facilities. The great news is that there are plenty of opportunities throughout the province for new graduates, now – and in the future – at OPG.
Getting Started
The hiring of new graduates happens almost year-round at OPG, but the timing varies depending on specific fields of study. Please review the Application Process page carefully to see when we are hiring in your area of expertise.
One of the best ways to learn more about OPG is by meeting with us on campus during the school year. Check our Calendar of Events to see when we will be at a school campus near you.
