Thirty per cent of OPG employees will be eligible to retire by 2012. To address this potential gap, hundreds of new employees will be required every year, just to maintain current staff levels and support the growing need for clean electricity. As a result, OPG is:
- building new generating stations;
- exploring new electricity resources; and
- refurbishing existing stations.
